PrepHK: MPF (港試通: 強積金牌照)

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PrepHK: MPF mobile application and this website (together, "the Service") provided by Sai Chun Christopher Tang ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

The Service is an independent study aid designed to help users prepare for the Hong Kong MPF Intermediaries Examination, administered by the Vocational Training Council (PEAK Examination Centre) and the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI Institute) on behalf of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA). The Service provides practice questions, mock exams, analytics and bilingual study notes covering all 7 official syllabus chapters.

2. Not Official Exam Material

The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA), the Vocational Training Council (VTC) or any official examining body. All questions are originally authored or AI-generated for study purposes and do not represent actual examination content. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in passing any examination.

3. Subscription Plans and In-App Purchases

The app offers premium access in three plans:

Premium unlocks the full question bank, all mock exams, analytics, bookmarks and unlimited practice across all 7 syllabus chapters.

4. Auto-Renewal Terms (Apple App Store)

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price as the original plan.
• You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions on your iOS device after purchase.
• On Android, manage subscriptions in the Google Play Store under Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions.
• If you cancel during a paid period, you will continue to have access until the end of that period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• Lifetime purchases are one-time and do not auto-renew.

5. Free Tier

The Service offers a free preview of two practice questions per syllabus chapter on this website and inside the app. All other content (full question bank, mock exams, analytics, bookmarks beyond a small free quota) requires a subscription or lifetime purchase.

6. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted directly to the relevant store:

7. Apple Standard EULA

In addition to these Terms, your use of the iOS app is also governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

8. Intellectual Property

All content in the Service, including questions, explanations, study notes, graphics, illustrations, layouts and design, is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, modify or create derivative works from the Service's content without our prior written permission. Third-party trademarks (including "Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority", "MPFA", "MPF") remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced only for identification.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service.
• Distribute, sell, share or republish question content, including screenshots.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate the rights of others.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the content is complete, accurate or current with the latest MPFA regulations or syllabus.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (via Apple or Google) in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to examination outcomes.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes what data is collected, by whom, and for what purpose.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after the "Last Updated" date above constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
