About the RES Examination
The Real Estate Salesperson (RES) Examination is the licensing examination set by the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) for anyone who wants to be registered as a property agent in Singapore. It is administered by NTUC LearningHub and sat at SIM HQ. Before sitting, candidates complete the 65-hour RES course at a CEA Approved Course Provider.

What is new in the 2027 syllabus
- PMLPFTF — prevention of money laundering, proliferation financing and terrorism financing obligations for estate agents and salespersons.
- Green buildings and leases — sustainability features and green lease provisions in marketing and transactions.
- Conservation properties — rules that apply to dealing in conserved buildings.
- Land Betterment Charge Act — the charge on enhancement in land value, alongside the State Lands Act.
- Format, fees and dates are set by the CEA and the examination administrator and can change. Check the current details on the CEA website before booking.
Two papers 800 practice · 480 mock
Practice banks are five times each paper's question count and mock banks three times, so a full 80-question mock — Section A and Section B case studies — can be built and re-built without repeating.
