PrepLicense: TW Securities & Futures

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PrepLicense: TW Securities & Futures mobile application ("the App"), developed by Sai Chun Christopher Tang ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

The App is an independent study tool designed to help users prepare for Taiwan's securities and futures professional qualification examinations, covering the Securities Specialist, Senior Securities Specialist, Futures Specialist, and Securities Investment Trust & Consulting (SITE) Specialist tests. The App provides practice questions, mock exams, study analytics, and learning aids.

2. Not official examination material

The App is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Securities and Futures Institute (SFI), the Financial Supervisory Commission, or any official examination body. All questions are original items written against publicly available statutes and the officially published examination scope. They are provided for study purposes only and do not represent actual examination content. We do not guarantee that using the App will result in passing any examination.

3. Subscriptions and in-app purchases

The App offers auto-renewing subscriptions and one-time lifetime purchases that unlock premium features:

You may unlock a single examination category, or purchase an all-access plan covering all four examinations.

Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged to your account at the same price within 24 hours before the period ends.

After purchase you can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Actual prices follow the localised App Store pricing for your region; the amount shown in the App Store applies.

4. Free content

The App provides limited free content, including a sample of practice questions. Premium features require a subscription or lifetime purchase.

5. Intellectual property

All content in the App — including questions, explanations, images, and design — is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy or distribute App content, or create derivative works from it, without our written consent.

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App is error-free or uninterrupted, nor that its content is complete, accurate, or synchronised with current regulations. Securities and futures regulations are amended frequently; for actual examination purposes, rely on the latest announcements from the competent authority and the SFI.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to examination outcomes.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above shows when these Terms were last revised.

10. Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement

In addition to these Terms, your use of the App is governed by the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA).

11. Governing law

These Terms are construed and applied under the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
